Café Batavia 1920
Café Batavia is a small and intimate venue with a private party feel. A traditional Dutch “brown café” housed on the ground floor of a listed art deco building dating to 1920, it stands opposite Amsterdam Centraal Station and is just a few doors away from the impressive Basilica of St Nicholas, which dominates the station's skyline. Café Batavia has an excellent selection of bottled and draught beers and serves great food until 21:30 each day.
Café Batavia - home to Northern Soul Amsterdam - sits right in front of Centraal Station.
Take a virtual tour of the Café Batavia bar.
Café Batavia's Room 5 (not shown in the virtual tour) is where the soul action takes place on Friday and Saturday night, while the bar serves as a great place to chat and socialise. The Saturday afternoon chill out session is being held in the bar and Room 5 will also be open for exclusive use by those attending the Lost Weekend.
